Think of the Children!

Ginny wants to start a "good old-fashioned conversation" by posting this video that tries to equate the use of singing children in Nazi and North Korean propaganda with their use in an Obama ad:

Not sure what kind of "conversation" she wants to have related to this drivel, but using kids in political ads or events is nothing new. Heck, even John McCain bussed in 4,000 kids to fill the seats at a campaign rally.

Whatever.

Ok, Ginny, here are my two responses for our "conversation":

Think of the Children (Gay Marriage now available in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa and Vermont)

And, for good measure:

  2. Sodom and Gomorra
Gen. 19:5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to you this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
[Know is strong’s number H3045 to know (a person carnally). Same as Gen. 4:1 Adam knew his Eve his wife. Sexual relationship. Homosexual was their sin in Sodom and Gomorra.]
Notice he did not touch Lev. 18:22, 24-25, 27-28 You shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Defile not you yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomited out her inhabitants. For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled; That the land spue not you out also, when you defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.
Consequences: v. 29 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
How can one argue about God’s Laws? Unless they do not believe in Him or do not think they will stand accountable for all their actions.
This whole blog is not showing respect for one another, using one’s God given talent with words in a discussing way of attacking people and to reinforce one’s sins.
Conclusion: Matt. 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast you your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

  3. Seasoned Warrior and Greggs Wife-
I would ask you to open your hearts and minds to the possibility that your interpretation of the bible could be wrong. Many Christians do not agree with your POV. For example, when I read the story of Sodom and Gomorra, it reads to me that it is the gang rape by the men of the city that is condemned, not a monogamous consensual homosexual relationship. And how about Lot, offering up his daughters to be gang raped? And the Levitical code talks about lots of other things that in those days were considered "unclean", such as having sex during a woman's period, consuming animal blood, (and eating steaks medium rare), wearing clothing of 2 different fabrics, not planting your field with 2 kinds of seed, it goes on and on etc. Some of the offenses were even punishable by death; I wonder if you are in favor of that.

I don't really expect to change your mind, just realize that those of us that disagree with you, whether Christian or not, are not evil or unholy. And don't forget that Jesus did not mention homosexuality; But he did speak frequently about things like not judging others and loving your neighbor, the most important lessons of all.
